Valu-Arc™ carbon gouging electrodes are made of high purity graphite and are copper coated to increase electrical conductivity and maintain arc stability. The hollow design allows the current to be applied to the outside edge of the rod keeping the diameter of the carbon tip in uniform dimension. This ensures more efficient metal removal resulting in greater productivity on the job.
